East Greenwich  is the geographic center of Rhode Island and contains numerous neighborhoods, as well as the villages of Frenchtown and Sun Valley.

An interesting mix of old and new, East Greenwich is known for its boating culture, waterfront restaurants, and perennially top-awarded school system. In addition, East Greenwich is home to Rocky Hill, one of the top private schools in the state. It’s an economically thriving community ideally located, compactly planned, and culturally diverse, with distinctive urban, suburban, and rural characteristics. The town faces picturesque Narragansett Bay, and has all the beauty and appeal of a seaport setting, including Main Street which crystallizes its quintessential seaside character. Green hills, blue water, and quaint, historic homes combine to produce a uniquely charming atmosphere. New housing is abundant, as are a nice mix of condominiums and older homes.

Division Street helps make up the town’s northern border. Greenwich Cove, an arm of the Greenwich Bay, is the easternmost part of the town. Four hills roll up to the border of West Greenwich, and Frenchtown Road is an estimated reference point to the southern boundary of North Kingstown.
